The authorization for placing on the market new plant protection products requires specific studies assessing their efficacy and potential risks.
Efficacy studies have to be conducted by a Test Facility officially recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and subjected to periodical inspections. Bioecopest operates in accordance with the standards prescribed by the law (legislative decree 194/95), in line with the international protocols EPPO (European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization) and the principles of good experimental practice (GEP).
The only Test Facility recognized in Sardinia, Bioecopest supports the development and introduction of crop protection innovations while respecting the environment.
