In questo ruolo, lavorerai al progetto intitolato “SARDUS BACTER: Development of the first biopesticide based on Brevibacillus laterosporus strains isolated from Sardinian soils“. L’obiettivo del progetto è selezionare i ceppi di B. laterosporus che mostrano l’attività di protezione delle piante più promettente, l’idoneità per formulazioni e applicazioni sul campo come agente di biocontrollo.
Come ricercatore, condurrai esperimenti in vitro e in vivo per valutare la capacità dei ceppi di controllare funghi, batteri e insetti, per chiarire la modalità di azione attraverso analisi genomiche e trascrittomiche e contribuire alla diffusione dei risultati in riviste peer-reviewed e conferenze scientifiche. Questa posizione offre un’entusiasmante opportunità di far crescere la tua carriera lavorando a fianco di un team di professionisti.
L’esperienza nel settore della protezione delle piante è un plus ma non è obbligatoria. Oltre alle competenze scientifiche, apprezziamo le soft skills come l’attitudine al lavoro di squadra e le capacità di problem-solving e cerchiamo un candidato che condivida il nostro impegno per l’innovazione nel settore agroalimentare!
